The Chiazi Polytechnic Institute in the city of Cabinda has gained two new computer rooms with computers and high-quality internet access. The infrastructure was installed as part of the Golfe Solidário project and is part of the education and digital inclusion program for schools across the country.
The project will benefit more than 3,000 students and was developed as part of the Golfe Solidário social responsibility initiative promoted by Internet Technologies Angola.

The new facilities are equipped with 42 state-of-the-art computers (21 per classroom), high-speed internet, UPS, and LG Smart TVs for projection and classroom support, allowing students and teachers to access modern teaching and learning tools.
More than 75 million kwanzas were invested in the project to install the computers. These funds were raised from contributions from the latest charity golf tournament, which contributed around 35 million kwanzas. The remaining 40 million was invested by Internet Technologies Angola S.A., plus sponsorship, according to Francisco Pinto Leite, Director General of ITA.
The Chiazi Polytechnic Institute joins other educational centers in the country that we have supported with IT infrastructure, strengthening digital inclusion throughout the country. Since 2012, this initiative has impacted more than 10,000 students, and in more than 10 schools it has created more than 20 computer rooms with internet access, state-of-the-art technological equipment, and teacher training, even in remote areas," he said.
In addition to installation, the company will provide technical support and ongoing maintenance for the computer rooms. The institute was also selected to receive ANGOSAT-2 capabilities, which will expand learning opportunities and better prepare students for the challenges of the future.
