With an installed capacity of 1.6 MW, ITA's new energy park has three days of energy autonomy without the need for an external grid, according to a statement sent to Economia e Mercado.
Internet Technologies Angola (ITA), S.A. announced the official inauguration of its second Power Plant, which, according to the company, represents a strategic investment that reinforces its commitment to operational excellence, service continuity, and reliability for all its customers.
According to a statement sent to E&M on Monday, 23, the park was designed with state-of-the-art technology and redundant capacity to ensure stable and uninterrupted power for Connectivity, Data Center, and Cloud services.
In addition, the note states that the park was designed to minimize the risk of interruptions and ensure continuous availability of operations, even in situations of instability in the public grid.
With a size of 1000 and an installed capacity of 1.6 MW, the Power Plant, located at the company's headquarters, has an energy autonomy of 3 days without the need for an external grid, an automatic switching system (ATS) that allows instant transition between energy sources, and real-time monitoring.
Quoted in the note, Francisco Pinto Leite, general director of ITA, explains that the respective investment represents a strategic step in strengthening critical infrastructure, further emphasizing that, more than ensuring operational resilience, the institution is significantly raising the quality of the services we deliver to its customers.
“We are thus reinforcing our commitment to robust, reliable, and sustainable technological solutions, aligned with Angola’s digital future,” adds Francisco Pinto Leite.
